    At 140 or 147.

Realistically both guys were in their physical primes at 140. Both were small welterweights.

Make Bradley 140 and McGirt 147 and they’re the same size in the ring and Buddy beats him because he’s better at everything

    Oh Jesus Christ.

McGirt fought in the 24-hr weigh-in era.

Yeah before rehydration two weight classes up was standard practice

why do you think Gerald McClellan looked so much bigger than his opponents? Because he was way ahead of the curve gaining 10+ pounds overnight

Welterweights today weigh 160 in the fucking ring... if you think McGirt weighed 160, you’re a blind motherfucker

I dont remember Bradley as a guy who put on egregious weight at 140. He was putting on about 10 pounds, which is normal. I dont think it would matter if he had 3-5 pounds over Buddy.

I agree that McGirt was better.

If a guy is a better fighter, 3-4 fuckin pounds is not gonna matter.

20 pounds would matter, but Tim wouldnt have 20 pounds on him.

Ten pounds, so at 140 he was 150

McGirt at 147 was probably around 150 himself ... the match makes sense as I envisioned it

    CUUUUUNT

When McGirt was at 140 he probably came into the ring at 145-147. He fought in the goddamn 24-hr weigh-in era... putting on 5-7 pounds is EASYYYY and it's normal.

Timmy having 3-4 pounds on him is not gonna matter.

When peak Bradley fought Pacquiao 3x, he didn't re-hydrate at all. So McGirt just out-boxes either 140 or WW version anyway

McDogg thinks every single fighter today gains 25 pounds post-weigh-in and thinks that same-day weigh-in guys remained at the exact same weight they weigh-in at.
