Roy broke many conventions of footwork but he also started something that Floyd emulated from him... circling counterclockwise against a southpaw toward their power hand. Puts the conventional fighter in danger, but also makes it easier to land on southpaws. Floyd did the same thing, probably inspired by Roy.
Pains me to say this as I hated watching him, and whilst I'm not putting him on an all-time list for it or anything, the one thing I did rate about Ricky Hatton was his footwork. It was excellent.
While Hatton wasnt on the level of any of the guys I listed, yeah, he did have good offensive footwork.
Loma has the best offensive footwork ever imo. I don't think he's all that as a fighter, but that footwork is something unique.seems like he's shifting between dimensions
