Duran would be the favorite but if Rosario lands well early, Duran's fighting spirit might begin to crumble and it would get difficult after that

Duran takes over midway and dishes out a sadistic beating and then after the bout turns to Ugo in the front row, grabs his crotch and yells “this for you face!”

    Ugo shits himself and cries

I dont think it would take midway. Given Duran's footspeed he'd be closing the distance on Rosario from the start.

I dont think Chapo would be competitive at all.

Duran liked to torture guys, especially Puerto Ricans

How’d the 2nd and 3rd bouts turn out for DeJesus?

How’d it go for the Viruet brothers?

2nd and third bouts did not erased the first L on Duran's record. Second bout was pretty competitive until the stoppage came. Heck, even DeJesus droped Duran's ass on the canvas again in the opening round! By the third bout DeJesus was just a shadow of his former self as drug addiction and marital problems were taking a toll on him. Two years after the Duran defeat he lost even worst at the hands of Saol Mamby who wasn't exactly a Roberto Duran. Shortly after that DeJesus, while under the influence of drugs, murdered a man and was send to jail. Viruet?? You mention him like if he was some big name. He wasn't. Never was. But what about Benitez? Did Duran enjoyed that one? What about Camacho in the battle of washed-up has beens?

There were two Viruets... one of them was a top contender for years, the other a tough gatekeeper

Dejesus lost 2 out of 3, you think that somehow undermines my point?

You ever see Duran more pissed off than he was against Benitez? Because he hated Puerto Rican guys and he knew he lost, he was embarrassed

The DeJesus fights are irrelevant in this discussion, as DeJesus was better than Chapo.

I'm a big Rosario fan, but he'd be Duran's 3rd best victim at 135... DeJesus and Buchanan were better fighters.
