I'm not surprised my buddy Xplosive left this place forever. Well 2 days... forever same thing. If he actually comes here with an intent to discuss his boxing. This place is a fucking ghost town. Not because of the Chinese virus and lack of action but because almost all of you would rather discuss someone getting their liberal feelings hurt on Twitter than talk boxing.

There is PLENTY boxing related topics to discuss. Past and present. But you can't make the horse drink the water you can only bring him there. I see all you mother fuckers lurking and lurking but seldomly does anyone actually start a thread or two. Too much effort for you idiots? You wanna save fightbeat put some work in.

There is LOTS of boxing knowledge here. Definitely more than some big time boards but you mother fuckers need to actually engage in talking about boxing instead of your fag ass transgender pronoun fag shit.

Sorry but I professed a long time ago that I wasn’t so into boxing anymore. I just don’t enjoy it like I used to and I am more into MMA now. The posters are what keep this site strong and if boxing is what keeps posters connected to Fightbeat it’s as good as dead.

 

So let's go talk some mma

 

Lb 4 Lb's views kinda reflects the general feeling of the majority of the forum. Not many posters on here are into boxing the way I am anymore, which is why my post count has dropped. That, and the fact that work and parent life consumes a lot of my time.

Admittedly, I haven't watched any of the new fights on ESPN (the no crowd thing is kinda lame and it's nothing more than showcase fights), but once things pick up and fans are once again permitted to attend, I'll start following again.

For now, I'm content w/watching old fights on YT every week - but aside for myself (and maybe Doub) I dunno any other poster who's into the sport that heavily anymore - so it'd kinda be like talking to myself.

 

I am still into the sport but since we don't have ESPN here, there is nothing to follow at the moment

 

Then talk about the past man make a thread or two won't kill you

 

Well I do watch every UFC card and before covid I was also watching every Bellator card (although I would skip a lot of fights). The thing is I download the cards and it might take me a week to watch the whole thing so I won’t go into the rd by rd threads in order to avoid spoilers.

Either way the MMA forum is even more dead than the boxing one. This isn’t a complaint so much as it’s just to make my point, but a couple of cards ago I gave my opinion on every major fight on the card and nobody even replied.

 

I'll reply keep posting.
