    Back when standing up for yourself didn't mean a 20 game ban.

    Danny Mills carried on the MCFC "Out to get us" CT today on TALKshite.

    "We should give the CL a right go now if we win they;ll have to give us the trophy, that will show them"

    etc etc.

    Twat.

    Clogg said it best, literally owned by an Islamo Fascist dictatorial crew of bampots.

    Strongly suspected Southampton to get something tonight and stuck a fiver on them at 7-1.......first team that ....

    * are in good form
    * have good players
    * have a good manager

    ......United have played since they came back.

    And I'll go further, had the United "Fans" been there tonight they may well have lost that, as the fans would have been all over them.

    "United Steamroller" my ass.

    Only for the ineptitude of Lester and Chelski United wouldn't even be top 6. Only for the financial paucity of Wolves and Sheffield United they'd be 9th or worse.

    I have vivid memories of the home coming. My brother parked the escort on the side of the old airport road. The car was surrounded by fans within minutes. We were on the roof, taking it all in. Those really were the days. We wont see the likes of it again - I still love the World Cup but I agree. its a different animal these days

    I like Giles but I sense a little resentment when it came to Jack.

    Leeds put a fantastic clip together 770+ appearances over 20+ years. No surprises here, but Jack looked a right player in his day.

    Never mind Irish football - Ireland will never forget Jack. R.I.P

    Aldo wasn't having any of it and rightfully so

    I was sweating bricks just watching Staunton in that game.

    That fucking cap on his head in the Italy game. The dagoes were all laughing. He had them in his POCKEH ALL NYH

    [IMG]

    Florida was just a step too far for them. 125 fahrenheit at pitchside against Mexicans?

    Still almost got something.

    That was a class kit and all. Some of our stuff was great back then.

    My Sister was in the Gaelteacht in Balbriggan {I know, fake Gaelteacht, more of an Irish Summer-School} and we had to drive through de Nort Soyde to get to this place being as BB {which is now basically all balloobas :Jest:} was on the other side of town {where it can fucking stay :Jest: :Jest:}

    Every estate we cut through had flags in every window of the house. I mean they'd got no light coming into the house. This was 1990.

    By 2002 for Japan/Korea there were plastic Oireland flags with guinnest harps on them, which, technically, means its not the flag at all

    Different toymes alright. It was the first time so it was the best time. I actually thought we could get Italy to penalties and beat them there, just like Argentina did.

    Liverpool have been shite and I strongly fancy Chelsea, who need to win, to do it at Anfield.

    Stan was an great player for Ireland, actually a great player full stop. 125 fahrenheit was one thing but you hit the nail on the head, it was against Mexico. A northern european team would have been a completely difference game

    PS Im not sure how Steve ended up as manager, I guess that says more about the FAI

    WTF.... Gaelteacht in Balbriggan ??? :Jest:

    Indeed 90 was special, it was different country back then. That innocents was long gone by the time 2002 came around. I feel like 02 / 06 is when football really lost the run of itself. Like I said, I still enjoy the game, just a little less excited these days.

    Those mistakes last night are a sign of, Ah sure we won the leagues, Wrap it up... However the other results have been something else.

    They highlight the flaws in this team - All season we have missed a Silva / Coutinho type player. When it comes to the front 3, we have nothing on the bench.

    LFC need the same players for over 12 months now . A proven 10 and a front man

    I'd given up by the late 90's. In the era of the non-smart-phone people would stop me in the street and enquire if Irealand had beaten Macedonia or whatever and I would be like "No fucking idea, mate".

    The Prem had turned into an absolute load of bulldust. The inkling was first there after the 1994 World Cup when guys like Klinsmann and all that started surfacing. Strictly interested in collecting a pension.

    Liverpool had gone from McMahon and Whelan and Staunton to........Istvan Kozma and Bjornebye and I was like "Where's the point anymore"......

    Japan 2002 was my last hurrah and only for Rafa I'd have kept Liverpool on the back burner. That whole Suey-Evans-Huey era took years off me.

    Horsecock Collymore not wanting to play and being depressed and I was just like........fuck off lads.

    I hope so and I agree that now is the time to drop points............when it is immaterial. But we need signings as you say. Last year we signed nobody and the excuse was that we didn't need anyone we just needed to bed in what we have. Club must have made a few quid this year and it's been 2 seasons of full CL football so there must be a few bob about plus I hear John Henry had a tenner on Wigan to do 7 or more vs Hull with first-half-most-goals so he's alright for now :Jest:

    I have collective amnesia about this fucking shit. It was so bad I just blocked it out..............Honestly, the CIA could tie me down and inject me and torture me, I'd not recall any of it. I'd swear it never happened.

    Quite possibly the most overrated club in history after Manchester City.

    Some of the stuff talked today on talkSHITE was unbearable............"back where they belong".

    Eh? You get relegated- and stay there- for a good reason.

    Cos you're shite.

    It's not a Golf Association where you get voted in.

    It's a league, you get played in and played out.

    That said, Leeds will stay up. Biesla is a serious individual not given to much bulldust. His Spygate issue was an example of just how far he will go to get an edge.
