This ppv doesn't come close to the awesome davis/santa cruz card.

 

I'll probably end up ordering both.

I passed on the Charlo PPV. I also passed on Wilder-Fury 2 in Feb, so this is probably THE LONGEST I've gone without ordering any fights on PPV.

I don't mind ending the year ordering both.

 

The charlo ppv was a far better value than the Davis fight.

The Fact He'll Punch WHEN Spence Punches is what Makes it Intriguing...

If Spence Fights Danny as he Did Mikey (Which was to PROVE a Point), it'll Be a Loooooooooooong Ass Night for Danny...He'll Lose a Fairly Uneventful UD12...

But if Spence Fights Danny as he Did Porter OR if Spence's Legs/Footwork are in Any Way Compromised, it's Damn Near a 50-50 Fight...55-45 Spence if he's the One Leading, Attacking Danny...

We saw him have success countering Thurman until....until....Thurman caight him with a big shot in one of the exchanges. After that, Garcia kind of disengaged and lost rounds. I expect the same thing to happen when he faces Spence.

But Thurman's Better ATHLETICALLY Than Spence, in REED's Opinion...TECHNICALLY, Spence Shits on Thurman, But Thurman's QUICKER of Hand/Foot for Sure...

Thurman was SLIGHTLY Better than Porter in Those Same Regards Also, Who was CLEARLY More Athletic Than Spence When They Fought...

Look, REED WANTS Spence to Win, Obviously...But Given the UNKNOWNS, REED's Scared to Death of This Fight...You Just Don't Bounce Back from an Accident Like THAT and BEAT a Guy Like Danny Garcia, 1st Fight Back...

if spence isnt the same after the accident he could potentially lose to someone a lot lower caliber than garcia. may as well maximize the payday

do you think its a case where he could work himself back to what he once was, but not immediately? usually when shit like that happens the guy is forever altered for the worse and no amount of tune ups would really change things

his team would know if he aint the same. he would be gunshy or not reacting to shots as well as previously, in sparring

 

He would have to be REALLY affected to lose to Cherry Garcia.

I'm sorry, but Danny Gift just isn't that good. What's more, Garcia himself looked like he lost a step in his last fight.

If Spence has lost a SMALL step (which he probably has), it shouldn't change the outcome.

The accident would have to have ruined Spence for him to lose this fight.

Now CRAWFORD? Totally different story. Spence needs to be at 110% to beat Bud - if he's lost anything Crawford will take him apart.

Spence can beat Danny Garcia at 80%, or even 75% .

I really want to see this, i'm hoping the accident actually made Spence better, more serious about his craft.

This workout video is encouraging. Spence looks good. Of course, we won't be able to tell for sure until he's in the ring, but it looks encouraging that even shadow boxing he can still pivot and move around without looking strained/forced.

Earl was messed up pretty bad in that accident.. he could cut if landed on and you never know.. Danny has been in there with top level guys and hopefully Spence will BRUTALIZE him, that would be best
