Williams would have success with his activity but ultimately I think he’s going to take too many clean hard punches and gets stopped late. Vargas was no defensive genius either but he was the more technically sound and heavier handed guy, and I think those short compact shots will do a lot of damage.
Agreed. It would be an entertaining fight but Williams' style plays into the hands of Vargas too much. I also think Nando would land the cleaner harder shots which would make the difference.
