We've done this one in the past, but worth redoing with all the new members/returning members.

List guys who once they got you in trouble, the end was very near.

The immediate ones who come to mind:

    Leonard
    Louis
    Tyson
    Robinson
    Arguello
    Gomez
    M.Spinks
    Ali
    Foster
    Zarate
    Cuevas
    Pryor
    Hagler
    Tszyu
    Mosley

    Going farther back, Jack Dempsey.

While we didn't get to witness it on an elite level Valero obviously could finish people.

If we're going by today's guys, I think it's Crawford.

Bud really does jump on guys like shark when he has them in trouble.

I haven't watched Crawford-Postol since it happened. I know he dropped Postol, but did he ever have him in serious trouble? A finisher knows the difference between a guy who's dropped, and a guy who's ready to go. And Postol has never been stopped, so we can give Bud a pass on that one.

I've never seen Crawford put a guy in serious trouble, and not finish him.

A great finisher of today? Or in general?

Beterbiev and Crawford are the best of today IMO.

Teofimo is pretty deadly when he gets guys in trouble.

Yeah, I think he's a cracking finisher too, pal. I've slept on how good he is in general tbh, just a really smart, versatile technician with a dangerous punch. He reminds a bit of McCallum.

Gonzalez at minimum and light-fly was a top finisher but dropped off a bit at fly and even more at superfly where his power was diminished somewhat. Just a great, fluent punch picker and very calm when going in for the kill.

Speaking of light-flys, Carbajal was quite a devastating finisher.

I'm due to go back and rewatch a bit of Carbajal tbh, it's been awhile. I remember him being being a better finisher earlier in his career when he was a more varied and subtler fighter in general before he fell in love with his power, but yeah, he could turn it on when the time arose.

Carbajal's best and most complete performance was his title winning dismantling over Kittikasem.

Yuri Arbachakov's performance over Kittikasem is always lauded, but Carbajal dismantled him first.
