    Gomez ... Fenech has his moments brawling and working but Gomez is too skilled, I think he gradually picks him apart and stops him late

    Out of all the fighters that have competed at 122, I think Fenech is the one that would have the best shot at beating Gomez. It was his peak weight IMO, he had good all-around speed and could bang with both hands. Payakaroon was a darn good-looking fighter IMO, and Fenech left him convulsing on the canvas.

    It wouldn't surprise me to see Fenech ranked as high as #2 among the all-time jr. FWs, ahead of even a young Pacquiao. The one big argument against it IMO would be his brevity at the weight.

    Yeah, Fenech's destruction of Payakaroon has a pretty good argument as his apex performance. Either that, or his beatdown of Victor Callejas.

    Fenech has a good argument as Gomez's stiffest test at 122, but I can't go against Bazooka at SBW.

    Brutal war, but Gomez's firepower and counterpunching takes it toll, and Fenech gets stopped circa 11-13.
