I would take Sanchez over all 3 of em. Just a higher caliber fighter. I think Marquez gives him the most problems, but Sal had too much in his game to lose to JMM. I think Morales takes the worst beating of the 3
I'd also favor Sanchez but all they would each be quality matchups. He wouldn't run over all three like some wrecking ball.
Huh? Barrera has the least chance of the three. TBH, Sanchez would beat the shit outta Barrera. Sal was better than MAB at damn near everything.
If Barrera still had the fiery intensity of his 122-pound days, then he might've been able to force Sanchez into a war the way Nelson did (although I'd expect the eventual outcome to be the same). But I think the more cautious, defensive Barrera at 126 gets picked apart by Sanchez. I think Marquez poses the toughest fight for Sanchez given Marquez's all-around technical skill.
. Styles are so much different that you can't really compare them. I think barrera, if he fought aggressively, could work an inside game and win a decision
Barrera has no chance against Sanchez. Him fighting aggressively gets him countered to death. Sal was a sharper counterpuncher than Morales, and had more pop than Morales.
Barrera tends to get overrated in matchups against the featherweight ATG's IMO. At 122, he matches up well against any SBW in history not named Gomez (and Fenech), but at 126, there's a good number of greats who beat him.
