I think that's a bit harsh. Precious few fighters in the history could have beaten a bigger guy of Salido's level in their second fight. Loma's reputation took definitely a hit against Lopez, but how much is up for debate. If Fimo goes on to have a great career, the loss won't look that bad in years to come. There are several greats who have lost after changing divisions too many times
Exactly, we bitch when a fighter cherry pick his way across divisions a la Mayweather's yet a sizable portion of fans want to bury Lomachenko after a close loss to a naturally bigger man who may be a great himself. If someone wants to (justifiably) criticized Loma is on why he didn't threw any punches in the 1st half of the fight (was he scared of Lopez's power?, retarded gameplan ? , delusion about how well he was doing ? ) Btw, yes he did lose, clearly (not even an argument for a draw imo), but the scores were beyond absurd so I can understand he's complaining about it.
Accusing judges of bribery is a step too far even if he was actually robbed. (which he wasn't) Lederman's scorecard was beyond ridiculous and the boxing commission should certainly review such cases, same as Canelo getting a draw with Mayweather. Garbage like this happens too often and it's never addressed.
After hearing this, I'm really hoping someone manages to knock Loma out. This was not a robbery. Not by a longshot. And the fact he can't see that is pathetic.
