Less than a week away from Kingry vs Luke Campbell.

    Who wins?

I'm tentatively going Luke. Whether Garcia is legit or not, to me, is in question. He could well be, which would drive me crazy, but he could be a load of hype with a glass jaw. I think Luke has the goods to out-box him, and Ryan is gonna need to land something big to get a win. Unless there's a trend of Latin-American LWs suddenly showing off world level boxing ability, I think it has to be Campbell on points (or at least, deserving to) or Garcia by KO.

Is the 31st, this happens? Honestly looking forward to Ioka vs Tanaka way more.

I think Campbell is the perfect fighter to get an accurate gauge on Garcia's ability. Luke is good, but not good enough to trouble the truly world class fighters, so if Garcia wins impressively and convincingly then he will get full credit from me and I will consider him legit.

At this point in time though I'm not sold on him, so I predict he will nick a close one which could have gone either way, no chance Garcia loses a close decision here.

I'll check out Ioka-Tanaka, although I'm not sure I'll be able to watch it live if its on DAZN in the States.

As for this, I have a hunch Ryan will outbox Campbell.

An emphatic knockout win for garcia is ideal for the business of boxing

I would say its possible. Ryan does appear to have pop.

If Ryan crushes Campbell, maybe a Garcia vs Davis matchup looms for 2021.

Any Pick is a HUNCH, Either Way...

That Said, Garcia Has Shown Immediate and DRASTIC Improvement Under Eddy Reynoso and as Neil Alluded To, It'd Obviously Be BETTER For Boxing if Garcia Won...

Right Now, He's Considered an IG Model/Influencer that Also Boxes...Beating Campbell Impressively, Particularly By KO Would Solidify Garcia as a BOXER Who Models/Influences on IG...

I would like to see Garcia win, as his family has long been involved in boxing in southern California. He has several older brothers that were trained by his father and fought professionally and he started at age 7. He has always put in the effort to be successful.
The change in trainers was absolutely the best move to make; I still wonder if they waited too long to make the change. A tough fight with Campbell could be the test to see if he got past some bad habits. A couple of kids asked me to help them out with their boxing and I said that I would as long as they quit watching Ryan Garcia. Maybe Reynoso will improve him enough that I can lift the ban.

I'm not sold on Ryan either. But Luke Campbell is the only fighter I know that gets credit for losing all his major fights. At this point he's the perfect hand picked opponent for Garcia. I think Garcia wins by late tko.

Garcia is going to stop Campbell.. as much as I hate to say it. I'd LOVE to see Campbell LEVEL him to where he is just out COLD and they have to help him come to.. like via smelling salts etc.

that said.. Garcia is going to look great IMO and stop him.
Campbell is.. EURO.. he prolly eats boiled chicken
Garcia, as annoying as he is.. he eats tamales, tacos, burritos, etc.

    Hmm..

Brother Reed.. well, Campbell is a white Euro but i don't think their orbitals are any stronger than Black Euros. That said, I don't see gay ass Garcia breaking orbital. It will be a stoppage but not some crushing damaging one, more like bend him over with a body shot or most likely the ref stepping in while Garcia flurries on him.

Took some time off watching boxing so I don't know much about Garcia. What I have seen, not too impressed. I'm getting Jorge Linares vibes from the kid. The "next DLH", has all the tools etc. Then he gets clipped and we find out he can't take a shot. Garcia and Shakur don't think highly of. Tank is bound to implode at any time (out of the ring). Haney and Teo are the only two I like.

As far as this fight, I suspect Garcia will win. He's Golden Boy's meal ticket now. They're not looking to get him beat anytime soon.

The praise he got, at least on this side of the pond, for his performance against Lomachenko was well over the top and somewhat pathetic. Definitely agree there. Other than that though the only other major fight he's had is Linares and he fought well in that one. Unless you're also including the rematch win over Mendy but I can't remember if he was given undue praise for that or not.

Considering the step up, Ryan probably shouldn't considered favourite. What's he done to be instilled as favourite over Campbell? That said, I do think he'll win. Likely by stoppage. Maybe I just want more money lol

And Haney doesn't strike me as very talented. Lots of hype there. Garcia, Tank and Teo are all better IMO. I need to watch more Stevenson. I dismissed him as hype and haven't revisited him since.

Honestly, I think Prograis is the most talented American right now. It's why I look forward to watching him so much.

I really like Regis, but you might be overrating him.

Both Bud and Spence are a completely different level than Prograis.

Jaron Ennis will be better than Prograis, if isn't already.

Teo might beat Prograis right now, but im not positive about that.

Its not that serious. I dont care toooo much for this fight.

What's the next fight we have to really look forward to? I guess Estrada-Gonzalez II.

I'm wondering whats taking so long to announce a date for the Taylor-Ramirez unification.

It’s THAT Serious When You’re Hitching Your Company’s Wagon to a Particular Fighter.

Only Time MAJOR Fights Are Broadcast In the Middle of an American Afternoon Is When It’s Joshua or Some Other Overseas Star Fighting in his Homeland.

Ryan Garcia, an American Fighter In His BIGGEST Fight to Date, Broadcast in the Middle of the Day? :duck:

Biggest DAZN Blunder Since They DELAYED the Start of Canelo-Kovalev to Accommodate a UFC Bout.
