The 92 Bowe - who does he have the best odds of beating out of these four? Mid 60s Ali Late 80s Tyson 73-74 Foreman 97-00 Lewis
I was gonna add Holmes, but im certain everyone would say that Bowe has a better shot at beating Larry than these four.
The guy who he has the best odds of beating is also the guy that would give him the worst beating, prime Foreman
Either Foreman or Tyson. Foreman is the slowest of the four and more open. Bowe might find him often with his jab and overhand right. Tyson might be the best matchup for Bowe as he could be pretty inactive on the inside and in the clinch, and Bowe was way more polished there. Uppercuts are a weapon against shorter swarmers, and Bowe had an excellent one.
To answer my own question, I don't think he beats any of them, but he has the best odds against Foreman IMO. Of the 4, he has the least chance of beating peak Ali.
I don't think he has a prayer against any, but I suppose the situation I could buy the most from him is that he was strong enough to put Tyson on the back foot and eventually break him down. I can't see him doing that vs Foreman. Actually, I can't see him doing it vs Mike either, but I can see it vs Mike more. I guess he could also catch Lewis. I live Bowe, but he was way too open to beat Lewis, Foreman and Tyson, and nowhere near quick enough to beat Ali IMO.
Agreed. BTW, non related to this topic, but PhillyPhan69 is gonna be joining us, as soon as he gets approved. He's cool, I've always liked him.
Foreman. Possibly Bowe can improve on what Ron Lyle managed. I know that's post '74 but i don't see some dramatic difference . There is going to be fireworks against any 70's George and Riddick Bowe.
