Moving beyond Kid Pambele, I dislike Tszyu, but I see him all wrong for Cotto.

Cotto chin wasnt that bad. Took a lot of punishment before going out. I think the Corley fight was an aberration in his career

I think in my mind Pryor is the worst match-up for Cotto at 140.

Tommy Hearns would be the worst match-up for Cotto at WW and 154

Always tought you were a tsyu fan. Tszyu is a tough matchup for Cotto. Id rate cotto has a much better fighter, but i could see that right.hand doing damage. I still like Cotto body attack to carry the day

I would argue that Duran is the worst matchup for Cotto.

At least with Tommy, it's quick and painless. Cotto won't remember a thing, he'll just be sleep.

Duran would give him a long, TERRIBLE beating.

Aaron stops him late, but its more competitive. Especially early on... late, it gets more sided in favor of Pryor.

Against the Duran of Leonard 1 and Palomino, its a very one sided thrashing that Cotto takes.

Napoles is also horrible for Cotto.

The trio of Robinson, Leonard, and Gavilan are all very, very, very bad for poor Miguel.

Griffith and Basilio would beat him up horribly.

    I said from 140-154.

At 154, McCallum gives Cotto an absolutely dreadful beating.

Jackson knocks his head from the arena across the ocean to Puerto Rico.

Cotto was much better than Tszyu....

    At 147. At 140, no.

I think Tszyu's power and accuracy would be too much for Miguel at 140.

I dont think Hatton was ever durable enough to beat Cotto.

Its different than fighting a 35-year-old Tszyu who no longer had as much snap on his punches as he once had.

Cotto, like Hatton, was a young, fresh guy who could have maintained the pace, and he was just the better fighter with more tools.
