And was actually pissed the fight was taking place because you didn't wanna see either lose.

While I'm not really fans of them anymore, at the time they fought I was a huge fan of both Judah and Floyd, and didn't know who to root for. I think that's the only time where my fandom was even.

There's been plenty of fights where I've been fans of both guys, Corrales-Castillo comes to mind, I was a Castillo fan in the mid 00s. But I was a BIGGER fan of Corrales, so obviously I rooted for him.

Who would you root for if after beating Ruiz Roy would have fought Mike

Good question. I would say Mike.

Roy is firmly always gonna be #2 favorite, but cmonnnn man, I'm a black New Yorker who was a kid in the 80s. Tyson was like God to us. It's like blasphemy to root against him.

In their exhibition, I wasn't rooting for or against either - I was just checking to make sure neither of their old asses got hurt.

Lol ya in that exhibition the only way anybody was getting hurt was if they were pretending to fight a little too hard..

    That Roy-Mike fight in 03 is a double-edged sword.

On one hand, if Mike wins, he's a 3-time heavyweight champion.

On the other hand, if Roy would have won then retired, then in the minds of many he's right up there with Robinson.

Makes it tough, but yeah, I would ultimately have rooted for Mike. BUT, if Mike had lost, I wouldn't have been heart broken, because it's Roy winning.

I remember being conflicted about who to root for when Gatti fought Manfredy, as I enjoyed both fighters around that time.

Lennox vs Vitaly for me, obviously. In the end the result was pretty good for me as one guy won and the other gained a moral victory

If Spence-Crawford ever happens (it won't, but in fantasy land), I'm not really rooting for or against either. I like both guys, but both of them are starting to get on my nerves, for different reasons.

Spence has become an entitled diva who thinks he's some Ray Leonard level star when he's not, and Crawford's career is one big disappointment due to his lack of comp. That doesn't mean I don't like them though. I enjoy watching both of them fight.
