I honestly think that Lopez gets up off the canvas to knock him out. It'd be a great fight and an awesome clash of styles IMO.
I think the Ramos from the Moore fight would be too much for Lil Red. Too strong, too quick, too good a jab, too good a counterpuncher, and with more than enough power to get Danny out of there. Obviously, Danny ALWAYS has a puncher's chance, but I side with Ramos by late TKO.
I was watching Hafey vs Olivares, and then Lopez, and I think Lopez, stylistically, should be favoured. Hafey had a lot of similarities in style with Ramos (obviously wasn't quite as good), and Lopez beat seven shiny shades of shit outta Hafey, aside from being but with an overhand. I'm not saying Ramos can't win, but I think it's a big ask to walk onto that power round in, round out.
Lopez was devastating in the Hafey fight, yes. His best performance, either that or Olivares. He's definitely live against Ramos, but I still think Sugar is the favorite. His chin seemed very solid at featherweight - it took a combination of being weight drained and Saldivar hitting him with about 2,000 clean combos to stop him. I think the fact that he was quicker on the trigger, and a more dynamic technician is the difference here. But your scenario could in fact be right. Lopez could always land a seemingly innocuous right hand that puts Ramos on his back, that's the kind of power he had, and it's always in the realm of possibility.
