    1. What was the topic of the first one?

    2. Talk about some subtle skills that often get underutilized, and some fighters who exceled in those skill areas.

Good shit. I listened to a bit of the first one, where you're rating the Fab 4. You sound exactly as I expected you to sound lol.

I'll listen to some more during the day tomorrow (working on a project right now).

What do you think of the suggested topic I gave?

Here it is, BTW, for the forum. Our young prodigy at work:

This one is my favourite. Escudo is one there, and there's one coming out soon with Reznick.

@REEDsART would be the ideal poster on here to brain-pick for podcast ideas.

Big fights that never occurred and how you think they would have panned out.

It would be a good mix of revisiting some specific times in boxing history and mythical matchups.

What!? It's a true story. Ray stole Terry's chin and replaced it with a hot head. It makes perfect logical sense.

This was the original story behind the Back To The Future movie but they were made to completely change it due to umm like the NWO and the mafia and stuff like that.

    Do your research.

i think you should discuss the boxers who were extremely slow and ponderous yet had the most successful championship careers. call it the plodcast

    Yeah, you did.

We didn't really do topics. We just jumped in a call, started talking shit about boxing and forgot to record the first five minutes. So it's literally just five idiots nerding out over whatever comes to mind for an hour plus.

We talk about LHWs and HWs a lot, as well as Donaire vs Khaosai. Small section on Joe Grim. Ragging on Mayweather, Broner, Ryan Garcia, Tank, Teo, Haney, and others.

We really did just chat broken biscuits for a couple hours.

I'll keep it in mind for the next one though, mate.

What was the consensus on Donaire vs Khaosai?

The real consensus is that Galaxy wins, because I think Galaxy wins and was told to play devil's advocate so it wasn't three vs one (Escudo was on there again, Jel). Wasn't really warranted though, as Greg didn't really get involved and Zack told me this morning that he was ambiguous.

I do think that stylistically, Donaire is a bad style for Khaosai. He could lose.

And I made a mistake, I don't think Donaire vs Marquez was for the lineal title.

Its always possible Khaosai walks into a monster Donaire hook and gets laid out. If not, he grinds Donaire down.

Do a topic on all things underrated. Fighters, eras, divisions, overlooked techniques/strengths of specific fighters, etc. I’m always interested in that kinda thing because I hope to learn about someone or something new.

Speaking of which, which Asian lower weight great from the 30s has the list of top 5 wins I posted below? I was quite specific in that description and his name still probably won’t cross your mind.

    Midget Wolgast
    Newsboy Brown
    Baby Arizmendi
    Rodolfo Casanova
    Frankie Genaro

Actually I can and I can remember two more or his top wins.

Speedy Dado, and he also beat Panama Al Brown and Lou Salica.

This guy beat Speedy Dado twice (and lost to him twice), along with Pete Sanstol if we’re adding to the above group.

I'm stumped, Pea. After about ten minutes of searching through Philippine midgets from 80 years ago, I thought "just fucking go and look at the thread you daft cunt". I thought it was Little Pancho or Little Dado, and nope.

I did and I was right. You had Speedy Dado at five. :p

I did. Wasn’t denying that. He just wasn’t the answer to my question. Young Tommy was the fighter, another completely overlooked Filipino great from that era. Probably because of the unimaginably bland stage name they gave him.

Yeah, sorry. I didn't read it properly.

I just saw Asian, Top 5, 30s Lower Weight Great and came away from that with Speedy Dado and the Asian top 5-10 thread.

A Top Ten Fighters from the Philippines could be the a cool thread. I'll make one.

Also, Lachlan has some spectacularly poor takes on Bob Foster. I'm sure Xplosive will enjoy those lol

Since it's black history month, maybe highlight the careers of some black trainers, managers and promoters from past & present.
