Damn, I've really been slacking on the sport in the past month. Not gonna lie, I've been in more of a movie mode than boxing mode since February. It literally just hit me a few seconds ago that Ortiz vs Hooker is on Saturday.

Predictions?

I expect that we're all on the same page here. Ortiz is gonna body Hooker.

 

apparently hooker is getting paid less than half of what he coulda had to fight the smaller prograis. either way he gets beatdown but may as well maximize the ass whipping financially.

Is there an Ortiz in the fight game that doesn’t come across like a bit of a mental midget?? Starting with Tito in the UFC.. then Victor.. now Victor Jr.. it’s like all these Ortiz’s just can’t piece together a descent string of words when you put a mic in front of them.

If Boots destroys Lipinets, then I would go right for a guy like Cherry Garcia or Thurman. Both are past their primes. Boots figures to batter either of them.

 

there is zero incentive for thurman or garcia to take a fight with ennis or ortiz. garcia has made too much money to be a stepping stone

 

To put it mildly

 

If Danny has made too much to be a stepping stone, then I wonder why he's moving up to 154 instead of just retiring. At 154, all he is a name for guys to pad their records with.

Danny should just retire. He had a very solid career for a guy with limited talent.

 

I can say with absolute certainty that 154 is the worst division in the entire sport.
