I think that's entirely possible. I also think it's possible that Curry puts enough hurt on Shane to make him gun shy, and he just outboxes Shane. Hard to say.
What hurts Curry here is what I often mention... his bad habit of pulling straight back from shots with his chin in the air. Mosley's lightning fast overhand right could be landing on him all night, and its doubtful Curry's chin is handling Shane's power all night. I say Mosley wins by late stoppage if he's willing to take Curry's counters and still remain in kill mode. If Curry can turn him into "glove touch" Shane, then Curry by UD.
I think Curry's fundamentals are good enough for him to replicate what Forrest did. I tend to view Curry as either on par or better than anyone from that era.
