Cotto was better than Garcia. It would be an entertaining fight though. Both have a polished styles. But Cotto was more versatile and with a bigger heart.
I would favor Cotto, but I think it's worth remembering that he was more vulnerable and more protected down at 140 than he was at the higher weights. Looking at how much trouble Ricardo Torres was able to get him in, I would say Garcia has a live chance if he can sneak in some of his swift left hooks.
