Styles heavily favour Lopez IMO, but obviously Saldivar is so much better, it could not make a difference. Who wins?
Danny has a puncher's chance, but I think Saldivar is way too quick and dynamic for him. If they fought 10 times, maybe 2 times Lopez catches him and bombs him out, but 80-90% of the time Saldivar would beat the living shit outta him.
Funny that you posted this, as I rewatched Lopez-Olivares last night. I maintain that Lopez was quicker than he gets credit for. By time he fought Mike Ayala in 79 he was a sloth, but he was pretty damn quick and deadly in the Olivares fight.
I've actually watched three Lopez fights today. I've got three more I want to watch tonight. I've also watched Saldivar vs Shibata, Legra and Winstone (II). I've always thought Olivares or Hafey were his best performances. I think Saldivar dices him up and serves him out a platter, but when Lopez went down, you'd shit yourself when he got up.
The Hafey fight showed that its a suicide mission to just come straight in on Lopez. Chacon and Sanchez countered him with nuance.
