I think Pedroza is too skilled and smart for the featherweight Pac. I consider Eusebio a level above both MAB and Marquez. Pac peaked at 130-140. At 126 I think he's too crude for Pedroza, especially in a 15 rounder.
I basically agree, but with the caveat that Manny has a real puncher's chance IMO. Pedroza was tough, but he wasn't unbreakable. I think if Pacquiao comes out like he did for Marquez early, he could potentially stop a lackadaisical El Alacran early on. I think for the most part, Pedroza either uses his length vs the shorter southpaw, or slips into the inside to work Pac's body. Manny had like no inside game before Morales I, and even afterwards, it was basically just learning to shorten his punches. I think Pedroza's uppercut and jab are the keys here. Vs Sanchez, Pacquiao looked incredibly flummoxed in the face of such a dirty fighter. He looked like #1. he was about to cry, and #2. like he was about to fold. I think Pedroza's illegal tactics could potentially break Manny's will - as cliché and Kellerman as that sounds.
It comes down to whether Pac's firepower and intensity alone are sufficient to overwhelm Pedroza like they did to Barrera, or whether Pedroza can survive an early onslaught and then make his experience count like he did against LaPorte.
