147 would be Oscar's best shot.

At 140, I think Oscar peaked, but it also looked like Floyd peaked at 140.

I'm not sure how exactly Oscar ever beats Floyd.

Hes simply not intelligent enough to outbox Floyd over the long run, and he lacked the gas tank to outwork Floyd.

Which are the same reasons why I feel he fails against Benitez, only Benitez is even worse for him imo.

In fairness he came pretty close to beating Floyd at 154. My recollection of that is that Oscar won but I would have to watch it again.

I think it gets overblown. Floyd won clearly.

I think it's a little miscontrued. There's no questioning who won the fight, but people take it too far nowadays. Oscar's success is pretty downplayed compared to how it was seen at the time. I can't see an Oscar win, but I can't see a wide card against him either.

The consensus is that Floyd won a close but clear decision. The fight was roughly even after 8, and then Floyd put a string of strong rounds together to secure the decision.

If they were to fight at a lower weight, Oscar would've been younger and quicker, but he wouldn't have had the natural size advantage that he had up at 154, so to me it's potentially a trade-off.

No one goes back to check because it was an awful fight.

I thought Floyd was unimpressive against an aging Oscar, but I think a fight between the two at lower weights would go similar.

I just have this feeling that Floyd has another gear that he can go into that Oscar lacked. Floyd had great ability to take away an opponent’s best strength. Oscar was a little more left hand dominant in his prime (95-00). Floyd would do a good job at taking that away and wouldn’t worry much about the right.

    I think it’s a 7-5, 8-4 type decision for Floyd

I think it would have been a great fight in 96, and I dont see Tszyu getting blown out at all. But I do see Oscar ultimately being too much for Kostya.
