I strongly considered Avelar-Vasquez for bantam, but Jofre-Medel was just fought at 10x the skill level, so had to go with that.

I initially wrote in Saldivar-Winstone II at feather. Then thought about it for a few moments, and chose Sanchez-Nelson instead.

You're right about 108, Chris... totally forgot about Carbajal-Gonzalez 1!

Easily done isn't it, @Xplosive. It's a bit of a joke how many awesome choices there are in the bottom five or six divisions around that time (eighties and nineties). Also wouldn't object too strongly to your choice at 126 lb. Just something about the style match up between Winstone and Saldivar which always gives their second fight the edge for me.

I know it ended in death, but Sugar Ramos vs Davey Moore was a GREAT, GREAT fight and arguably the best at featherweight imo.

I know it's cold to put it so bluntly, but fights where people die are always really good. Weird, right?

Not always, but in a lot of cases, yes.

The Ramos-Moore case was unique though, because Moore didn't actually die because of the punches. Hitting the bottom rope killed him, not Ramos' blows.
