Not sure, but here's a quick go. #10. Oguma-Park I #09. Magri-Mercedes #08. Bernal-Chitalada II #07. Gonzalez-Espadas #06. Oba-Gonzalez #05. Oba-Chionoi #04. Chang-Kittikasem #03. McAuley-Bassa I #02. Chionoi-Torres I #01. Kim-Mathebula
I've seen most of these, I think, but I haven't seen your number 1, so if it's better than Chionoi-Torres 1 and McCauley-Bassa 1, it must be some fight as those were wonderful.
There's been hundreds of pretty good flyweight fights. Take Estrada and Oguma, can anyone name a boring fight from them? There's tons of guys like that, and when they fight eachother you get something special. Laciar vs Montero is a great fight.
Of the traditional 8 weight classes, Flyweight is the one I've spent the least time watching so there's some good recommendations here. Just watched Johnson v Salazar and that was awesome!
I haven't actually seen the rematch, I just worded the post poorly. The Orozco fight is a very entertaining fight and performance, but Too Sharp's magnificent best came during his 112 title reign.
Most of the outstanding candidates have been named already, but I may as well add a couple of suggestions which haven't (apologies if I've missed them) come up yet. McGowan-Burruni II. Nice styles match up with McGowan, for once, overcoming his Achilles Heel to survive being badly cut and taking a hard-fought decision. Kingpetch-Harada II. Excellent fight, just a shame about the dubious verdict at the end of it. Zapata-Laciar. Bassa-Zapata II. Cedeno-Magri, decent little scrap while it lasted though not quite a classic or must-see. Donaire-Darchinyan I...If only for the knockout and the fact that it was the 'arrival' of one of my favourites in Donaire.
