I can see a case. As I recall the McGirt fight, he essentially swarmed Philly style to get the job done. With his speed, that could be the way to beat Locche. Although I may be getting my wires crossed and he didn't. That said, I consider Locche a better fighter.
I think this fits perfectly into the thread you opened. Cause yes, Locche was better. But stylewise, I think Taylor is a nightmare for Locche and takes a clear UD. But unlike Locche, Taylor would never manage to beat Kid Pambele.
Yeah, I think I'd take Taylor by decision here as well, assuming the judges are on the level. I could see it being a fight where Locche probably lands the more impressive-looking and cleaner shots, but just doesn't land enough of them. He had tremendous accuracy but didn't really let his hands go enough and that caused his fights to be pretty close a lot of the time, and in some cases very contentious. He got away with that against the likes of Hernandez but I'm not sure he would against a much quicker, harder to time Taylor.
Who is the speediest fighter that we have footage of Locche fighting? I too question whether he'd be able to slip and dodge against a high volume speedster like Taylor.
