SRL. Tested against the very best and almost as impressive visually as Roy was. I prefer to watch Roy but you cannot overlook the quality of SRL’s resume.
Leonard was greater and better than Jones. Leonard was probably the most perfect fighter. Like if you were playing a boxing video game and maxed out all the attributes youd end up with Sugar Ray. Roy is up there too but relied too much on his athleticism wich eroded over time. He did certian things like fighting with his hands down and could get away with it in his younger days but as he matured and his abilities eroded.
I feel like this thread would have been far different pre-Tarver. Cause I remember when we used to ask this question in the early FB days and back on Seconds Out, and Roy got the majority of the votes. I'm keeping that same energy. I think super middle Jones was better than welterweight Leonard, though I admit, its EXTREMELY close.
