I would expect that Taylor would throw a lot of punches and win the fight, that he would be just a little too close most of the time for Kostya to be effective. On the other hand, Meldrick never seemed to encounter a punch that he wasn't willing to get hit with. If he starts taking some hard shots he will hang in the mid range distance. He will get beat up there. Meldrick Taylor, in my opinion, was a fast guy with a ton of heart. His skills never developed. He wasn't a good stick and move boxer, but he was fast, and he didn't fight that well inside, but he was fast. But fast and heart let him have a pretty good career.
