Would Crazy Ike have had a chance with any of the following guys? Lewis Prime Tyson Prime Foreman Prime Bowe
Can't make a case for him in any of these but he probably stands the best chances against Lewis(chin) and Bowe (tendency to brawl). Prime Tyson is the nightmare fight for him with Foreman a pretty close second.
When he faced Tua it was so impressive because he didn't hold at all. He just fought him. But if he tried that against Tyson my guess is he ends up on the canvas. The others I give him a decebt shot - he'd be the underdog but would still be a head scratcher going in.
Lewis, Tyson and Foreman completely overwhelm and destroy Ike. All of them are sharp enough, or hit hard enough to KO Ike - Tua didn't hit as hard as any of them IMO - and they were all good enough to find the mark with ease. Ike has the best chance vs Bowe, in a war.
I disagree about tua not hitting as hard as them. He was an absolute bomber. Still, don't really give him a chance against any of them. Imo, his best chance would be against Foreman if he survive long enough and that big georges start to fade, but it's still a pretty slim chance
I would personally say that Ike's only chance is against Bowe, which makes sense considering Bowe was the weakest link of this group, but even his chances against Bowe are pretty slim. Bowe's uppercuts would destroy Ike. Actually, every guy on this list threw wicked uppercuts, which doesn't bode well for Ike since it seemed like he was vulnerable to that punch.
No chance vs prime Tyson or Foreman...even against an old Foreman(who took a beating from Evander)...I don’t see Ike being successful... against the mid-later career Lewis who fought behind a jab...I don’t give Ike much of a chance...15% if Ike vs Bose turns into a war.. I still see Bowe withstanding the assault and winning by Ko...25% chance for Ike..
