    Right...

Tank's an ECONOMICAL Banger, Which Actually DEFEATS the Purpose of Him Being a BANGER, At Times...

It'll CERTAINLY HURT Tank as he Faces Better Competition, To Your Point...

Yeah, the 2 Knockdown Round Gave Tank a VERY Slight Edge...

Davis appears pretty easy to beat. The most basic jabs and one-two combos land. He looks discouraged when hit and drops rounds without much resistance. Then ... KA-POW!!.

I don't think he's playing possum, it's just that fighters have a hard time staying disciplined because up until they get clocked they have everything under control.

Yeah, he's very flawed, but He keeps his speed and power late, and seems to believe he's only one good punch from winning

No Pun Intended, But Davis is Fully Aware of His Gas TANK As Well...

After Going for the Kill in the 2 Knockdown 8th, He GAVE AWAY the 9th...Tank's an ECONOMICAL Banger, Not a Free Swinging Mayorga Type...

In Addition to All You Stated...

    Tank TURNS IT ON Too...

1nce it Got to a Point There was a Degree of DESPERATION In His Corner, Tank Ramped it Up and Got the Stoppage 2-3 Rounds Later...

tank showed a good chin most importa tly. he will need it. but i didn't think his defense was that bad. and i was impressed by his offense. you see him turn right handed in the middle of his attack?

Tank is a good fighter, but he has a very unique style. Dont recall Anybody fighting like him, especially in the lower weights

Davis has flaws like just about any fighter in history.
Conditioning is his biggest flaw IMO.
If he could get the right people around him,...his speed, aggression and tremendous power could make him an ATG.
He would eventually catch Loma and put him to sleep IMO

Its possible that Tank represents the biggest threat to Fimo - even moreso than Taylor - simply because of the equalizer he has.

I think Lopez would stop him or win a wide ud. But I'd be very interested in that fight as Davis' power can always bail him out.

REED Favors Tank Over Just About Everybody @ '40 and Below EXCEPT Taylor and 'Fimo...Taylor Whups Tank's Ass and 'Fimo Stops Him Late in a Memorable SLUGFEST...

As GOOD as Loma Looked Last Night, REED Thinks Him and Tank are 50/50...Even a YEAR Ago, REED Would've Heavily Favored Loma, But Tank's Still ASCENDING a Bit, Whereas Loma Has Leveled Off...Tank vs. Prograis is 50/50 Also, in REED's Opinion...

Hard Imagining King Ry and Dev Going 12 Full Rounds w/Out Getting Hit Clean and 1nce They Are, Tank Capitalizes and Stops Them...

Prograis beats the living fuck out of Tank, ruins his career and rids of us of that cunt forever.

    Let's get it on!

I dunno. It would be a good fight.

Davis, admittedly, is just a more dynamic talent than Prograis.

The question is, would Prograis be too strong?

What I think is clear at 135-140 right now is that Taylor, Fimo, Tank, and Loma are the elite guys, while Haney and Kingry aren't in their league.

I don't think Tank is their league either. Loma, Teo and Taylor are all a level above him.

I'm not as convinced as you.

I think Tank's power and the fact that he carries that power for all 12 makes him live against all three. Should he be the underdog against all three? Yes. But he's a live dog.

Loma isn't iron chinned, and Fimo/Taylor aren't defensive specialists.

I'd be lying if I said I would pick them over Tank with the utmost confidence.

If Davis catches any of the three right, they could go.

Davis would blast the fuck outta Jose Ramirez, for what it's worth.

i dunno about that. ramirez is a lot better than barrios.

that other euro who fought on the ppv undercard would be a handful for davis. he really beat barrios to me

Ramirez is just too wide open, and we now know his chin is dentable.

He could be having success for a bit, but I have zero doubt that Davis would catch him with something big eventually. And when he does, Davis is a ruthless finisher and Ramirez ain't a clincher.

I'd pick Tank to stop Ramirez with little hesitation.

What we've all sold Davis short on, myself included, is his ring IQ. Because he's dumb outside the ring, we've underrated his brains as a fighter.

Davis actually has a fairly high ring IQ. He's not some boxing idiot like Wilder.
