im always skeptical of garcia taking these type of fights. hopefully he is out of options after the pacquiao thing fell through. its actually a winnable fight for him if he's sharp
I wouldn't be shocked if Mikey won, but I'm leaning Regis. It'll be a competitive fight regardless of the winner. Prograis isn't Spence level.
agREED... It's Not That Mikey is SCARED, It's That He Has Soooooooooo MANY Logs in the Fire You NEVER Know Which One He'll Pull Out... He's Been "Rumored" to Face Prograis in the Past Along w/Loma, Crawford, Danny, etc...LEGACY Wise, the Loma Fight Will HAUNT Mikey, When his Career is Over... REED
It's Because Mikey Doesn't LOVE Boxing; Never Has...That's Why Inactivity Has PLAGUED His Career... Started His Ammy Career Relatively Late, But Being BORN Into a Boxing Family, Shit Came Naturally...Seriously Entertained Law Enforcement Before Deciding to Fight Pro...Willingly Sat Out the Last 2 1/2 YEARS Of his Top Rank Contract... Mikey's Very Good (Probably GREAT) @ His Craft, But He Doesn't LOVE It...But BECAUSE He's From a Boxing Family, Mikey's Always In/Around the Gym...So Inactivity Won't Affect Him as Much as it Would Others... Mikey-Prograis is a TRUE 50/50 Fight in REED's Opinion... REED
I dunno about Mikey not loving boxing. I was watching Iron Mike interview him on HotBoxin, and it seemed Mikey has a love and appreciation for the sport and its history. Mikey was able to hold an intelligent conversation when Tyson started bringing up some of past greats like Arguello, Gomez, ect, so Mikey does know his shit, which isn't true for a lot of current guys. I think Mikey does love boxing, but just doesn't have the fire of a great fighter. There is a difference. Mike Spinks didn't love boxing, but he had the desire to be a great. Mikey loves the sport, but just seems to lack that great fighter fire.
He's From a Boxing FAMILY, So Of Course He Has an Appreciation for the Sport and its History... But if Mikey Loved It Personally, WHY Did He Waste 2 1/2 Years, Sitting Out His Top Rank Contract???...Why Has He Fought 1 Time In the Last 2 Years and 3 Months???...That's Nearly 5 YEARS of his Career Mikey's WILLINGLY Sacrificed... When You're a NAME Fighter, You're Not THAT Fucking Inactive, if You LOVE It... Beyond That, PBC Has Never Pressured Mikey Into a Loooongterm Deal Either...Since 2016, He's Done a Series of Non-Binding 1 Fight Agreements w/PBC...The Jessie Vargas Fight was a Non-Biding 1 Fight Agreement w/DAZN... Mikey Pretty Much Gets WHAT He Wants WHEN He Wants It...He's Attained a Level of Independence Fighters Would KILL For...As Such, If he LOVED Boxing He'd FIGHT More... REED
