    It would, and I think the underrated Borboa would've won. Although he'd have to not get reckless, as Romero could bang.

    I'd pick Borboa too. That educated left hand and great timing. Just think he was a much trickier fighter than Romero.

    I wanna say Borboa, but I can't escape the feeling that Romero would bang him out eventually.

    Borboa was more skilled, and had a higher ring IQ, but Romero had more firepower and a better chin.

    If forced to choose, I think Romero scores a late stoppage while down on the cards.

    I might be going against the grain here...
    Romero would be better off boxing Borboa because trying to bull rush Borboa would let him play matador.
    Romero could box well enough in his own right; box the guy and let the power find it's way.
