Choose one per decade. And it has to be on film (at least partially, if not fully).

Nice choices, George. I'm not for sure about the best one from the 30s yet. Armstrong-Ross, Armstrong-Ambers 2 and Canzoneri-Chocolate are in contention, I think.

i know it's all opinion and i haven't bothered to provide a list so take this for what it's worth, but Chacon/Lopez? probably wasn't even best fight of '74.

I'm trying to think of a better one from that year. Valdez-Briscoe 2? It's debatable. Good as it was, it wouldn't be my pick as fight of the 70s though.

Ali-Frazier 1 was the best fight of the 70s IMO. Followed by Olivares-Arguello.

I don't see any case for either of them being above Saad-Johnson I. I don't even find them the best fights from those four fighters. I prefer Arguello-Escalara II, Olivares-Castillo II and Ali-Frazier III.

Yeah, I love that fight. I was really torn between Chacon-Lopez and Saad-Pops I.

Ali-Frazier 1 was the fight of the decade all things considered. For pure in the ring action alone, it's up for debate but as a complete entity, nothing else comes close.

I think Saad-Pops 1 is definitely better. I think Saad-Pops 2 is better as well.
