To answer better: ive been reading Twitter scouting reports on all three since summer when Ange arrived and along with Kyogo they were touted right in the top handful of J-league talents, or certainly Maeda and Hatate have been. Infact Maeda was reportedly our top target above Kyogo in the summer but we couldnt get the deal sorted then. Beyond that they 'profile' perfectly for the system Ange is building in terms of manic pressing/counter pressing from the front. Lastly they bolster positions we're beyond stretched in right now (as in the hamstrings of all our starters in those positions have literally stretched beyond breaking point) so will allow for some much needed rotation. Maeda and Hatate can also comfortably play across two or theee positions which will be additive.

Fun fact: Celtic (yet again) have played the most games in world football this season so far and Ange plays a really high intensity style. Its interval sprints for 90 minutes. We probably need more than 3 more bodies in for the second half of season but these are 3 very good ones to start.
