Great match up and hoping we see Valdez put up a better performance this time. I'd like to think that his last fight was a one off and he should have lost. This fight will show us just how good Valdez really is. Looking forward to this. Might have to favor Stevenson.
I never thought much of Valdez. He's a brawler so I disagree with people that say he's boring. If anything it's his lack of defense and tendency to brawl that's his down fall. But I don't think it will be as easy for Shakur as people think. Based on what I've seen Shakur is the favorite and his career seems to be heading in the right direction if he wins it will catapult him into bigger things. The cheater Valdez not so much. But still has decent pop and is strong so he can make it a long night for Shakur. I'm not expecting Floyd vs Corrales type performance from Shakur but I do see him winning a clear decision. No stoppage he's too feather fisted.
Stevenson is gonna put a hurting on Valdez. Valdez is a good fighter and nothing more. Shakur is a special talent. Stevenson would likely wreck shop at 135, with Loma probably being his biggest challenge.
