How do you see this exciting match up play out between the Mexican southpaw warrior against a lanky hard puncher like Poison? Can Zaragoza find a way to hurt Jones or is Jones' power and reach too much for Zaragoza?
Most likely the latter; though with Jones' chin, the former is a possibility. Poison is the favorite though. Just more talented and more skilled than Zara. I appreciate Zara for being a good fighter over a long period, but he's one of the weaker guys in the HOF. For example, Happy Lora beat the Holy shit outta him to win the bantamweight title, and isn't in.
The irony is that the version of Zaragoza who lost to Lora and Fenech was probably imo clearly better than the version who held the title for so long.
He stopped a shell of what once was Zarate. Suffice it to say, he wouldn't have done that to a prime Zarate.
