Pryor takes a close decision IMO, Ortiz was obviously incredible but Pryor is bad for him IMO. Loi gave him hell and Pryor was far better than Loi but fought ver similarly.
Yeah, I think The Hawk would take a VERY CLOSE one. But I wouldn't be surprised if Ortiz took Pryor to school TBH.
Not so sure. Pryor leaves ALOT of holes in his defense. And Ortiz was a sharpshooter. I think Pryor would have to knock him out.
Loi was incredibly fortunate to come away with the series win over Ortiz too, the two 'wins' in Italy were robberies imo. I think Ortiz would decision him in a grueler tbh, he was a significantly better lightweight/ light welter at his peak than the version of Arguello that Pryor beat. Physically bigger, stronger and rougher, better on his feet, more subtle, malleable and adaptable than the ageing version of El Flaco and less rigid than Arguello had become. If Pryor was more of an animal as a body puncher I might be swayed towards him a bit more, but he wasnt really a body puncher or swarming mauler up close despite his aggressive, high energy style and swooping attacks, and like puerto says, easy to hit. I could be wrong though. I don't think any style flustered Ortiz, you just had to be better than him, and I don't think Pryor was.
I'm pretty close to the fence, but yeah, I do lean more Ortiz. Thing is, while Ortiz wasn't as big a hitter as Arguello, he was better than Arguello in most other ways.
I agree Loi didn't deserve either of his wine, and that third fight especially was embarrassing. However, Loi did definitely give Ortiz lots of problems by being relentlessly aggressive.
