Out of these 6 fighters that have fought at LW, who would you say is the hardest puncher?

For me it's between Edwin Rosario and Tank Davis.

George would be pleased by me saying this but, pump the breaks on Tank.

A shot Gamboa would not see 12 with a young Duran or young Mosley. Nor would Barrios see the latter rounds with them.

You guys may shake your heads at this, but punch for punch I feel like Diego Corrales hit harder than all of the aforementioned (possibly not Rosario)

Duran was way more efficient and had more thudding shots, but Corrales when he got off had some serious power.

Corrales belongs on this list far more than scrubby Valero does.

Rosario and Corrales for me probably are top 2. Tank is an excellent puncher but I don’t think any version of Gamboa goes 11 rounds with either Chico or Chapo.

Andy Ganigan was a bigger puncher than Valero.

Can't believe I forgot about mentioning the Hawaiian Punch. The Sean O' Grady fight tells you everything you need to know about his power.

    I'd rate them:

    Rosario
    ^Ike Williams
    ^Ganigan
    Duran
    ^Corrales
    Arguello
    Mosley
    Tank
    Valero

I think Corrales hit harder than Duran.

    Yep…

Duran Wasn’t Devoid of Power, Obviously, But He was Definitely More of an Accumulation Guy Than a TRUE 1 Hitter Quitter, Despite Being Labeled “Manos de Piedras”…

Chico Corrales is a Good Shout…

He Didn’t Need to Wind Up or Get Much Torque at All to Generate SINGLE SHOT, FIGHT ENDING Power…

Yeah, I'm not buying that one at all. We're talking about a man who rocked a prime Leonard, dropped an iron jawed Palomino on his ass, and dropped a HUGE middleweight in Barkley. Duran hit harder than Chico.

I think a lot of Chico's power was generated by the leverage he got, and the fact that the shots he threw were so short and fast, that a lot of guys didn't seem em coming.

For sheer force of blows, Duran had more power.

Chico doesn't have many one hitter quitters either, though. His most famous one punch KO was over Robert Garcia, but even that was an accumulation KO culminated by a beautiful right hand.

Justin Jukko, he just beat up. Manfredy, he overwhelmed, but Angel was stopped on his feet. Castillo was stopped on his feet. Frietas was bounced up and down multiple times, but ultimately quit. Corrales was a big hitter, make NO mistake, but we ain't talking about Foster or Hearns here.

I would safely say that Duran's right cross was a bigger punch than Corrales' left hook.

Put it this way, if lightweight Duran nailed Castillo as many times flush as Chico nailed him, I don't think Castillo would have lasted as long as 10 rounds.
