Ingle HAD that fight and somehow contrived to damn near blow it. You can put Retarded Son of the Legend Vs Martinez in there too. Miles behind, hopelessly adrift and he went all out and really battered Martinez.

Hayes 12th round vs Valuev was his best of the fight. He was behind on one card. The 12th round if the Wlad fight was also his best round of that fight and he was behind on all cards. About as BTTW as it gets with Haye.

    David Tua.

    2nd Rahman fight

Tua was definitely behind and went so all out that he was throwing shots after the bell just like the first fight.

Thankfully he got put in his fat ass by a late one from Rock.

Then Tua did it again Vs Monte Barrett, another fight he was losing, going wild in the final round and this time he got splattered for real.

A bit off topic. For as much as hbo hyped Jermain Taylor's career it turned out to be major dissappointment imo.

MJ Vs Rios. Well ahead on the cards, but still decided to try and knock him out.

LaMotta vs Dauthille (?) would qualify under the opposite, as well. Far behind on the cards, but LaMotta just annihlated him in the last 20 seconds or so.

Israel Vasquez was down on 2 out of 3 cards in his third fight with Rafael Marquez going into the final round. He went all out and scored a final seconds KD to take the split decision win.

Jarrett Hurd managed to hurt and KD Lara in the final round that helped him win a SD against the vet.
Mike Alvarado was close to possibly losing to Breidis Prescott but managed to stop him in the final round.

Mosley vs De La Hoya 1, even though I thought Shane was definitely winning. And also Oscar showed balls but after his chicken run against Trinidad, he kinda sorta had no choice.

That kind of reminded me of Bobby Chacon-Bakooka Limon 4. Both Chacon and Izzy scored knockdowns in the final seconds of the fight, and won on the cards by a single point.

Briggs-Liakhovich rings a bell. Don't remember if he was that far behind though.

    Chavez Jr.- Martinez?? Lol

Most of the best ones are listed here already.

Zab vs Stinks in the first fight.. Zab was clearly down by a few rounds going into the final round.. he needed a KO against a very defensive fighter. He launched a brilliant attack, scored a solid KD but just lacked the extra minute or two to finish. The rematch result was a foregone conclusion before the final bell even rang.

Forgot to add one. Canizales stopped Kelvin Seabrooks in the last round of a fight he was dominating.

Frazier vs Ali. He didn’t know he was up on the cards and went out in the 15th and beat Ali’s ass.

Bonecrusher Smith lost every round to Frank Bruno until the 10th and final round, and then of course Harry Carpenter immediately declares Bruno's career is virtually over

I was thinking about Chavez-Martinez but chose not to include it. I don't think he went "balls to the wall". He did exactly the same thing he'd been doing for the previous 11 rounds at the exact same pace, he just happened to land a shot this time.

To be honest, a lot, if not most, of the fights listed here is exactly that. I mean, how could someone consider what Briggs did in the 12th vs Lyakovich as going balls to the wall???

Andrade fought like a possessed man in the final round of the 1st fight vs Bute. Just needed a couple of seconds more...

Keeping it on the Quebec 's scene, Augustus really brought it on Ngoudjo in the 12th but once again, probably needed a few more secinds to get it done.

Ironically, the province most well known come from behind last second ko (Hilton Ouellette I) wouldn't qualify for this topic imo.

Yeah, the way I saw Boss's question was a fighter giving literally everything he had in the final stanza, one last monumental push to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, whether successful or not. Obviously there are tons of examples of miraculous one-punch final round KO's or knockdowns from all our years watching the sport, but that isn't necessarily the same thing.

Leigh Wood stopping Michael Conlan deserves a mention. What a comeback.
