I ask because of these are just biased as hell and don’t always seem to know a lot about the sport.

    Any recommendations?

I really only like film study channels. I wish there were more of them. Full disclosure, I've been very disconnected from the sport lately. Haney-Kam and Beterbiev-Smith are the only fights I've watched in the past month or so.

Although I must say reed's channel is slowly dying which is a shame because it's revolutionary. Never before has there been a hybrid channel combining boxing with puzzle solving... and the puzzle being what in the fuck is this bloated crackhead saying???

Boss, you've been doing pretty well lately, don't regress. REED didn't come for you, don't provoke for no reason.

Hotboxin is by far the best boxer-hosted podcast, but it's a universal podcast. Mike has everyone on. He just had Bill Maher on last week. He hasn't had a boxer on in months.

I think PR was looking for purely boxing channels.

I like Tyson but not so sure about that show. Granted I've never seen more than a 5 minute clip but Mike always seems so high it's hard to follow... he's always emotional or distracted or just laughing uncontrollably at something not even funny... he should save the weed for after the show...

It depends on who he has on. I don't watch it just for Mike at this point. I didn't watch the Maher episode as Maher is too condescending and snobby for me. He used to be a man of the people, but now he's an insufferable elite.

Never liked Bill Maher, personally. I just always felt he was an arrogant, condescending prick. He panders a lot too.

That little guy Constantino is a bit of a dork. But somehow he gets some exclusive interviews. He has access to Canelo and Eddy Reynoso and is not as annoying as Ellie but seems just as dumb. Nothing about his channels wows me. Hes just meh.....

I’m still annoyed that YT took down my channel (thanks to Don King Productions, I had put together a 30 minute video of fighters using different types of illegal tactics.

Not really fight channels, but I follow a lot of coaches on YouTube. I have checked out or still visit the content of: Kenny Wheldon, Tom yankello, Marvin Cook, Coach Anthony, Jason van Veldhuysen, Daskalo Jacob, Fran Sands, Alexey Frolov and Tony Jeffries. I almost forgot Charles salbox. And also Phil Daru.

Kenny Weldon has past away, but his material is still to be found scattered all over YouTube. His explaining about the fundamentals is very insightful. For example: the way he explains (from an orthodoxe stance) how your right foot (heel) falls/slams with your entire weight on the floor when you throw your left hook. Almost like a closing mousetrap. Putting you entire body weight into the hook. No boxing coach ever thought me that in Holland.

Tom Yankello is very very good. Household name in boxing. Amazing that he shares this stuff for free. Goes into extremes when it comes to details. For example: Stance wise, how to stick your ass out a tiny bit, like closing a drawer with your buttocks. This automatically puts exactly the right level of bend on your knees desired for a fundamentally correct boxing stance. Yet again, no teacher ever thought me that in Holland.

Marvin Cook. Big on footwork. Teaches what he calls ‘the tru boxing stance’. Takes an almost philosophical approach on his patterned “tru boxing stance”.

Coach Anthony. Let’s fast eddy chambers demonstrate what he’s trying to teach in his videos. Teaches a slick, non European way to box.

Jason Van Veldhuysen. Puts in a ton of effort to keep his channel interesting, seems like a cool dude, and a good coach.

Daskalo Jacob. From Israel. Looks like a combat veteran that makes any Arab want to run in the opposite direction. Has a catchy funny accents that’s makes me laugh. Good coach.

Fran Sands. Seasoned, allround good coach. I have no idea where he comes from, Welsh, Irish,English, he’s British that I’m certain of.

Frolov. This guy is a complete trip. A former Russian amateur boxer and now for almost 30 years a boxing coach. He has one of the most esthetic pleasing European/Russian styles I have ever seen. This tall, long armed, stringy/wiry old man, with perfect technique. A beardless boxing wizard. Someone has taken the liberty to synchronize all his videos into English, which helps a lot.

Tony Jeffries. Former British Olympic medalist and professional. Relative new comer as a coach on YouTube. Nothing really special, but him being a former good boxer himself, gives him credibility.

Charlessalbox. He mixes Cuban style boxing with salsa. For a man like me, with stiff hips, quite a challenge. The Cubans always have a mystique surrounding them when it comes to (amateur) boxing. I like watching them train and their approach to boxing. Boxing training can become very repetitious, tedious even. I like to mix it up, Charles and his salsa help me do it. The misses is also not complaining, since now I can do some basic salsa dancing with her.

Phil Daru. Strength and conditioning coach.

Tony Jeffries dressed like a giant grey tree fox giving boxing lessons in his Geordie lingo to Californians has to be the biggest display of self-belief I've ever witnessed.
