There's nothing wrong with thinking that, but Chavez wouldn't stop him.

Yeah Floyd has great defense and a hof chin so it might be wishful thinking that Chavez would stop Floyd.

Chavez was Better than Castillo, Obviously, But REED Thinks Castillo was the Harder Pure Puncher btwn the 2…

But That’s Literally THE ONLY Edge REED Would Give Castillo Over Chavez..

    For 3-4 Rounds, Suuuure…

Thing Is, Even In His PRIME, Tyson’s Ferocity and Activity DIPPED a Bit After 3-4 Rounds, Whereas Clay, Roy and Pac Gave More of a SUSTAINED/CONSISTENT Effort Throughout…

I think Mike was more aesthetically pleasing to watch than Pac's herky jerk style, and Ali's at times boring style. Doesn't make Mike better/greater, but from a technical standpoint Mike was more pleasing to the eye.

Again, REED is Speaking Specifically About Mid to Late Rounds Tyson..."Early Doors" Tyson was PURE HELL, Undeniably...Also, REED Noted Clay, Because You're Right, Post-Exile Ali Could Be QUITE Boring to Re-Watch, Admittedly...

But REED Can't Recall a SUSTAINED Whirlwind Attack Into the Late Rounds from Tyson the Way Pac Fought in Barrera I or Cotto, for Example...

Now, if You're Telling REED He's Only Fighting 3-4 Rounds, Win/Lose or Draw, Tyson's DEFINITELY the Pick...Few, if Any Fighters were More DANGEROUS "Early Doors", as REED's British Fightbeat Brethren Says...

Tyson had arguably the most aesthetically pleasing punching form ever.

Kid Gavilan is also great to watch. Watching him unleash those flurries while also showcasing cute defense is a thing of beauty. Same could be said for Johnny Tapia.

Roman Gonzalez, Juan Francisco Estrada, Kazuto Ioka, and Naoya Inoue should also be mentioned with having a nice, clean, and pretty style of fighting. Inoue, of course, has amazing punching form and technique down to a tee that would make Alexis Arguello nod in approval.

Out of curiosity do you still see Davila from time to time? And how come you didn't have any interest in fighting like him at the time? The man had a style that is definitely great to study boxing.

Also what videos of his fights do you have? I've been wanting to see more of him.

I haven't seen him in years- I moved away from that part of the world 20 years ago.
When I did see him a lot I wanted to fight like Little Red Lopez and it took me some time to realize that, while it is fun to watch someone fight like Little Red, it isn't that much fun to do it yourself.
I bought his first fight with Pintor and his fight with Superfly Sandoval.

Very interesting to hear, thanks for the response!

Little Red is a fun fighter to watch but definitely not the kind of fighter to emulate since he was known to take constant punishment.

I would love to see his first fight against Pintor. Been wanting to see that fight since the second fight was so brilliant. If you're able to upload a video of Davila's first fight with Pintor that would be great!
