I'd be keen to see him against Wilder, just out of curiosity to see if Deontay can put any kind of dent in his chin. He has a T-100 vibe about him. If Wilder can't do anything (and he WILL land flush), then he's officially indestructible.

It's not necessary to stop him, just bzzszzt enough to get him to pause long enough to allow you to run off into the next scene of the movie.

His big problem is that when he loses rounds he really loses them, he's like Sam Peter in that regard, he's either getting close enough to smash your brain stem or he's wandering around in the near distance with a vaguely oafish desire to get back after you.

In that regard you can take a fucking beating but win 6-5-1 and get the decision.

AJ had the quickness to get close and do some damage to Usyk, Joyce will do a lot more IF he can get close.

Ps today's guys are all looking at each other saying that "I already fought him, he's nothing"

That's why I want to see Joyce get in there and FORCE the issue

Usyk and Fury both beat him comfortably imo. Usyk has the movement and angles to keep him hitting air and resetting, (Fury has that plus size). Usyk's gas tank is obviously fine as well so I don't see why he can't just repeat what he did in the WSB for 12 rounds.

Agreed that Joyce is a threat against everyone else though.

Yeah but the Cuban is trained by Robert Garcia and with his record in HW championship fights I dont think it turns out well for Sanchez . Garcia is a very nice guy but he's like Mush from Another Bronx Tale. Everything he touches turns to shit.

Yeah you gotta make him reset, that's the word. He's like a T100 in its skeletal form, he's not that great in terms of absolute speed but he's relentlessly always on it....

Corrales was one of my favorite fighters I didnt know he knew the Garcias. Did he train with them at some point? I know they fought and Corrales beat him so maybe a little jealousy? And I heard Corrales despite his tough guy/ domestic problems was known as a very nice guy. Most fighters are nice guys because they know they're tough no need to prove it by talking shit and acting up. Its the punk ass Internet bitches living in their mom's basements that are rude and disrespectul.

Corrales interacted with the Garcias at the press conferences in the build up to their 130lb IBF title fight 20 years ago. It wss after that he made the comments about how rude Garcia had been.
