Almost certainly another close distance fight. Maybe a bit of ring rust in his fight last night, I don’t know. I had Chocolatito winning their rematch but it was close enough that an Estrada decision was justifiable. Probably something similar with Estrada edging out Gonzalez again with a split decision.

I'm thinking Choco could take this one. He seems to have aged better than Estrada and is the smarter fighter, he has more to improve on from last time and is better at doing so.

I think Estrada should go down as a very good fighter, but I could never consider him an all time great at 115.

Guys like Roman, Galaxy, Watanabe, would have outclassed him.

Agreed. He's a very good, borderline top ten guy. He'd likely beat a lot of top three guys from most eras but if you transported him back to the golden era, he'd be on the cuff of the top five and even in most eras, he'd likely be second fiddle to somebody. However, guys like Tapia, Penalosa, etc, are likely gonna have issues with him.

Although in terms of his resume, I'd say he's a lot closer to top five than it'd seem. He's done more at 115 than Tapia, for example. Better résumé than Galaxy, too.

What impressed me about Estrada is how well he did against Chocolatito. There was a time Chocolatito was considered a top 3 p4p fighter.

Chocolatito is declining but he still has enough in the tank to beat guys like Jc Martinez. Just shows how great he was and that elevates Estrada imo.

Estrada won the second as clearly as Gonzalez won the first.

The 3rd fight will no doubt be just as grueling as the other 2, the only question is how much they both have left. Seeing Chocolatito outclass Martinez and Gallo struggle with Cortes is a bit of an eye opener though.

Chocolatito vs Gallo rivalry is becoming the Barrera vs Morales of 115.
