I think a lot of people can agree that SRL, Duran, and Hagler were complete fighters that could do it all in the ring, very skilled, and having a solid chin. Even though Hearns is part of the Fab 4 he was definitely not a complete fighter, mainly because his chin was not the most sturdy.

Out of the 3 who would you say was the total package overall?

The answer for me is Duran because he was both an offensive AND defensive genius. There's no attacking fighter in history who had a defense as good as Duran's.

When you think top 10 all time defenses you think Floyd, Whitaker, Locche, ect.

When you think 10 best offenses of all time you think Louis, Robinson, Napoles, Arguello, ect.

Duran is the only guy who could make BOTH lists.

I've said it many times before, and will say it again... the Duran from Dejesus III was the most complete fighter the sport has ever had.

Hagler was probably more complete than Leonard.

Leonard is the second most physically talented fighter in history behind Roy; that had a lot to do with how good he was.

In terms of pure skill and versatility, I think Marvin edges him.

Duran definitely top for me. When it comes to second place, if you're talking technique then it is Hagler, if you're talking natural God-given ability it's Leonard. If I was to pick one out of the two to fight for my life I'd maybe lean slightly towards Hagler.

I’m gonna say Leonard. IMHO, not only the best ring IQ I’ve ever seen, but also a guy who could fight whatever style he needed to fight to get the job done.
