Was stationed at Yokota from 2010-16. I retired in 16 and was living in Tachikawa Tokyo for a while. The last 5 years I’ve lived in Yokohama but I’m moving to Las Vegas next year. I work with a bunch of Navy guys, they have some stories as I’m sure you do too.

Why would anyone want a rematch? That fight was a stinker.

Well I think Pacquio can adjust. He got outboxed by Morales then made some adjustments and whooped him twice. Plus I think now that Mayweather has been inactive and has slowed down Pacquio can take advantage of that. Historically its a pointless fight. Just like Trinidad vs Jones. Or Tyson vs Jones...Two old legends past their prime. But still fun to see. Just my opinion.

Trinidad Jones? Tyson Jones? To each their own I suppose but I don’t think either of those fights added much of anything. Jones hasn’t gotten any of my money since the Calz fight and should have retired long ago.

Re: Pac v FM 2. Floyd will just outrun Manny again. It was a fight that happened way too late and now they are both too old. I mean if you want to put dollars down for that go ahead but there’s no way I pay anything to watch that and I most likely wouldn’t bother even with a stream.

If Calzhague was shrunk down to 147 and didnt benefit from being a naturally bigger man absolutely 100% Trinidad not only beats Calzague but is a greater fighter than Calzaghe.

Yeah I think Joe would have been a bad match up for Tito, especially at 168.

I agree that Trinidad is a greater fighter. I don’t think Tito would have beaten him at 168 but that’s a different subject.

Tito had no business fighting above 160. His best weight was 154 imo. I dont think Calzague is that great he just caught guys at the end of their career(Hopkins) green (Lacy) and just over all 168 has never been a great division. Look at what canelo was able to do in a year at 168. Beat a bunch of euro bums to become undisputed.

What a load of shite. It's barely ten years since it was arguably the best division in boxing, around the time of the Super Series it had a ton of very good/great fighters. A raft of greats have fought there since it's inception in the 1980s.

    Nonsense statement.

Never heard Lacy referred to as 'green' when Calzaghe brayed him. Overrated, sure, but not 'green'.

    A real nonsense post, that.

Historically greats have fought there but I wouldnt call it one of the great divisions like 160 or 147 where the very best fighters have fought at. It wasnt a great division at the peak of Calzague's career.

What great fighters did they have when Calzague fought there other than Kessler who was a very good fighter at best??? Lacy was overrated and green when he fought Calzague. he only had about 20 fights and Calzague had 40 fights(twice as much experience). In boxing experience means something.

SAS and Jay Williams were getting kind of pissed at each other a few days ago regarding Kyrie. Jay was a Duke player just like Kyrie, so he defends him and SAS always goes at him.

Jay always seems emo, like he’s ready to start crying.
