It's rare, but I'm actually siding with Doub here. There's no defending this, and I like Bud. Not a literal bum he's facing, but not an especially talented guy either. Average in the grand scheme of things. Not a guy a future HOFmer who's getting up in age should be padding his record with at this stage.

Crawford's career will be remembered as disappointing.

Porter is a solid fighter, but every elite welterweight in boxing history would kick the shit outta Porter. Imagine if Leonard or Trinidad's defining win was over a hack like Porter.

When I first started posting online about boxing in around 99/00, I remember some guy claiming how Hamed would probably beat any featherweight in history. The reply to Azumah Nelson was “the sport has evolved and improved too much since Nelson”. Yeah, so many changes in those whopping 8 years since Nelson was a FW champ until Hamed was a FW champ. I don’t remember that poster to be found anywhere after the Barrera fight.

When I brought this up and said it was a horrible pick, those geniuses on the general forum at ESB said I was just being anti-UK and pro-American. I used to browse the Boxing subreddit but figured it was full of young people lacking knowledge of history when they overwhelmingly voted for Canelo to a beat a prime Monzon and many said he would win with ease. A lot seem to buy into that Floyd TBE shit.

I remember him saying that Tank Davis would knock Canzoneri out in the first round and that Baby Miller would've beaten Ali and host of other great heavys.

The best though was that he could train a four round novice in his gym to beat Greb.
