What were your thoughts on this fight? Who did you want to win and who did you THINK was going to win. What did this fight do for each fighter’s legacy?

Pretty irrelevant match. Rahman won the 1 that mattered much like Frazier Ali 1

It was relevant because Lewis needed to win his belt back

I wasn’t especially big on Rahman, but I picked him to win simply because I thought Lewis’s age was finally going to catch up with him. He was 36 and coming off a spectacular one punch KO.

The rematch was one of the loudest punches I’ve ever heard. This, Tyson-Holmes, and RJJ-Hill usually come to mind when I think of loud punches.

I’m not sure if I can think of any two fights between the same fighters that ended with such great highlight reel knockouts. Rahman’s fights with Maskaev come to mind, but I don’t think the rematch was quite up there. Maybe it would have been if he had actually fallen out of the ring again.

I picked Lewis to win the rematch before he was counted out in the first fight. Just so much better in every way than Rahman.

This is a very tough fight! the old boxing was much tougher than the modern one but Hasim played well
