All 3 gave pure boxing masterclasses and barely got a scratch on their face. Who would you say looked the most impressive?
Id watch it. It would be an interesting tactical battle. But certainly wouldn't make gettin tickets a priority unless somehow they misplaced it in La for cheap
I dont even see that. Bivol showed more vs a much better guy. Valded is somewhat explosive but far more limited than Alvarez at this point and Stevenson won with basic tactics. Bivol didn't win as dominantly but had to show much more versatility and raise his level from previous fights
Shakur vs Haney would 100% bring a big crowd to Barclays. Haney's become a recognizable name on the east coast. I mean, Zab Judah is his Godfather for Christ sakes. In Vegas, I would imagine the crowd would be underwhelming.
Dubs owner Joe Lacob needs to give Haney a homecoming title defense at Chase Center in front of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Deebo Samuel
I just rewatched Stevenson-Valdez. It's a masterclass that'll be enjoyable to watch 10-15 years from now. Shakur really boxed beautifully. I might rewatch Haney-Kam once, but after that I doubt I'll ever watch it again. Haney definitely can't blend offense/defense the way Shakur can. I would bet the fuckin farm that Shakur beats the crap outta Tank.
We still don't know that for sure. Kam says he's gonna activate it, but it's possible that either A. Someone in his team will talk him out of it because he won't win, B. He'll come to his senses and realize he can't win, or C. They'll pay him a fee to not activate it, so that Haney can move on to bigger things.
I don't think there are too many big-money options for Kambosos without the belts so he'll probably take it, regardless of whether he actually thinks he can win.
I noticed that Yoel Judah was working Haney's corner. Didn't know Judah was his Godfather. Is Haney a black Hebrew also?
What the three aforementioned had in common were that they were 12 round white washes. Quick destructions belong in their own category.
Well he isn't winning back from Haney....one or two fight in the USA and he will be back in the mix at 135/140 I'm sure eventually Lopez would want to avenge that defeat. Ryan will talk Tank, but settle for Kambosos. Shakur might want to test the water at 135 w/ a tune up or two before going against TOP 3-4 in the division...Kambosos could be one of those tune ups. I think Kambosos can still make money in boxing...not UNDISPUTED money but a living. However he needs to wash the bad taste he left in a lot of people mouth with that performance vs. Haney....so those 1-2 fights need to be exciting encounters..
it's not just levels. it's styles and strengths and weaknesses too. someone with serious power, for example, could beat haney and lose to bosos. not saying haney isn't "better" than bosos, but am saying it's not the whole story either.
