Both are HOF fighters known for their supreme physical talents, flashy style, outspoken personalities, antics in the ring, and being involved in some memorable fights. They also fought and lost to ATG fighter Marco Antonio Barrera.
Definitely Hamed IMO. Better peak/prime, and a better resume. Tapia might have had a better peak, but he lost it to drugs, so we'll never know.
It'd be fun if you don't like Tapia. Hamed would have badly fucked Tapia up. Johnny too small, and not enough pop to keep Hamed honest.
