no need to kill himself to defend a title he probably has no intentions of keeping after this 1.

nothing left for him at that division

Weight cheat/bully. This guy could easily be a Welter. But he has no pop whatsoever. He wont slap his way into victory when he fights guys his own size.

After the Valdez fight, I knew that Shakur was probably taking a risk with this fight as far as the weight goes.

Was a bad call IMO. Shakur needs to move up NOW to 135.

This Lebron guy fighting on the undercard (vs Vences) craps himself bad every time he gets touched to the body.

Stevenson looked great for the most part. Impressive performance

Stood right there and beat the shit out of a game opponent.

I didn't watch. I didn't have any interest in Shakur vs that no-hoper.

Shakur will beat the Loma-Haney winner.

In fairness, Robson was a good opponent. Better than Valdez & Herring.

I'm not saying Robson is a bum, it's just obvious he had no shot in Hell.

Honestly, Loma and Haney are the only two guys who can even make a case.

Shakur will kick Tank's ass all over the ring.

Speaking of Tank, his plea deal appears to have been denied for that hit and run… He could be looking at jail time..

That will give Tank's team enough time to dig up Aaron Pryor's remains to be his next opponent.

Conceico landed a good number of overhand rights throughout the fight. One of the things I look for in an elite fighter is ‘does he react to everything’? Shakur seemed content to just let those shots bounce off his head. He reminded me of Haney in the late rounds vs Linares taking too many headshots.

I had it 8-4 or 9-3 for Stevenson. Much more competitive fight compared to Shakur’s previous opponents but still an overall good performance. Conceicao did well early, got discouraged after the knock down which led to Shakur taking complete control while Conceicao became more sloppy but still fought hard later on. Shakur got tagged more often this time around, and it did seem like Shakur was getting frustrated at times with the spoiler tactics from Conceicao as evident with the push down, and it looked like he was hitting low a bit too often. Stevenson stillshowing that he’s not that great of afinisher but he gets the job done.

Overall a surprisingly entertaining and also rough fight. Still unprofessional of him to miss weight but I appreciate the fact that he apologized and owned up to it. He’s definitely ready for 135.

2 weeks ago the ufc card's main event featured up and coming star Chimaev. He was like 18 pounds overweight. Dana had to shift fighters around just to keep the event alive. The kid did beat his last minute replacement opponent. During the post fight interview he was asked why he missed weight. And he was rude and totally unapologetic about it. Just went on a rant basically saying he didnt give af. Acted like a total douchebag it was cringey. So yeah big ups to Shakur for showing some class and owning up to his mistake.

Yes I know which UFC fight you’re referring to. I believe it was on the undercard of Nate Diaz vs Tony Ferguson. Chimaev was supposed to fight Diaz but didn’t make weight. Guy is an utter piece of shit that has no likeable qualities, but I can’t deny the guy is a beast in the octagon.

Great performance Shakur I like his style some say he doesn’t have the power I say he’s young give him the time he’ll figure out the art of the knockout soon I agree he’s not ready for Tank or Loma but I’d say in a few more fights he’ll be ready for Haney and that will be a great match
